When Your Brain Is Full: how to avoid burnout

ree

There’s a particular kind of stuck that happens when your brain is full.

Not the “I don’t know what I’m doing” kind.

The other kind — the one where you know exactly what you want, you can almost see it…

but you can’t seem to take the next step.

Because you’re tired.

You’re overstimulated.

You’re juggling work, home, a very long mental load, and the invisible emotional labour that no one really sees — but you feel every day.

Your brain is running at 98% capacity, even while you’re sitting still.

So of course you’re stuck.

Your system isn’t failing — it’s asking for a reset.

The Real Problem Isn’t Motivation

It’s decision fatigue.

Your brain is trying to hold:

  • Your current workload

  • The idea you want to build

  • The steps you think you should take

  • The fear of choosing the wrong step

  • And how to fit it around school pick-up, client work, life admin, etc.

No wonder you can’t “just start.”

This is not a discipline issue.

This is a bandwidth issue.

The Shift That Changes Everything

Instead of trying to do everything, we zoom in on the first next step.

Not the whole launch.

Not the whole program.

Not the perfect plan.

Just:

→ What unlocks movement?

This is where the pressure drops and the momentum returns.

Because once you know your next step, you don’t need more time.

You just need the right direction.

This is exactly what we do in a Coffee + Coaching session.

It’s 30–45 minutes of:

  • Talking it through (with someone who gets how your brain works)

  • Sorting the messy thoughts from the meaningful ones

  • Naming the real priority

  • And walking away with a clear, doable next step — one you can take in the small pockets of time you already have

Not a huge project.

Not a 12-week course.

Just… direction.

The thing your brain has been craving.

If you’re reading this and thinking: “Yep. That’s me.”

You’re not behind.

You’re not failing.

Your brain is simply carrying too much alone.

You don’t have to do that anymore.

Coffee + Coaching is reopening in February

and I have a couple of spots available for women who want to start the year:

✨ Clear,

✨ Grounded,

✨ And moving forward — without burning out to do it.

We’ll go from there — gently, and with a plan.

You’re closer than you think. ☕️🤍
